Welcome to the Lyon - Pleasant Ridge PTA! The LYPR PTA is typically comprised of over 400 parents, teachers and administrators. Our primary objective is to enrich our children's educational experiences by providing our schools with funds, programming, and resources. We believe that parent involvement in the schools is critical to helping us meet that goal. PTA meetings are an excellent opportunity to learn what's going on in your children's school and find ways to get involved to help made a difference. All parents and staff of this great community are encouraged to support the PTA by registering for membership. Membership to the PTA helps support the following initiatives such as: 

 

PTA Grants (purchase Audiovisual equipment for both gyms, garden at PR, Book closet at Lyon, Soft Starts at both schools)

Holiday Helper

Book Fair/Literature Alive

Virtual Community Nights (both Family and Parents) NEW this year

International Night

Assemblies at both schools

Teacher/Staff Appreciation

Parent Connect (district wide parent education)

Scholastic magazine subscriptions

5th Grade Picnic

 

Registered PTA members also get access to our ONLINE directory and a copy of the PRINTED directory. Members also have early access to select PTA events!

DIRECTIONS TO PURCHASE A PTA MEMBERSHIP:

  1. Go to A to Z Connect on the web or use the app on your phone

  2. Log in (or register)

  3. Once you are logged in you should see your information from last year (we have not gotten the information for this year from the district - SEE BELOW TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE DIRECTORY)

  4. On the upper left side you will see 3 bars, click on them

  5. A search bar should then show up

  6. Look for the Store/Products and click on it

  7. You should then see the Products page, click on view item next to family membership $25

  8. Click add to cart

  9. On the upper right side you should see a 1 in the shopping cart, click on the shopping cart

  10. Choose PayPal and check out.  You can pay with your PayPal account or via credit card.

 

There are two things you will need to do to ensure you have access to the directory.  

  1. Purchase a membership to the PTA

  2. All of our data comes from the District’s data in PowerSchool that they send us in late September. When registering in PowerSchool there was an authorization that you will need to have checked for your data to be released to our directory. If you did not check this permission, or would like to double check that you did - Login to PowerSchool and click on “Registration” – scroll down to this section:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PLEASE check that you checked this box ASAP if you want your information in the directory, the district will be sending us the directory information at the end of the month. Once they send the information, we cannot add you to the directory.

 

If you would like to go directly to PayPal or pay by credit card for your registration, click below. To be included in the directory, you must still follow the steps above allowing the district to share your information with the PTA.
