Art Enrichment

A program designed to expose children to noted artists and their work. Artists and their works are presented throughout the year by parent volunteers. Each short presentation is followed by a short classroom project. No formal art experience is necessary—only an interest in sharing your love of art. A great project to get to know the class!

The Art Institute of Chicago offers an annual seminar for Art Enrichment volunteers in the classroom. It provides a terrific opportunity to learn about the resources available to you at the Art Institute of Chicago plus provides lectures on some remarkable pieces of art.

In 2008, the seminar will be held on 11/13, 9:30a.m.-1:30 p.m. Admission is $20/person and reservations are required.

Amazing feedback has been generated from volunteers who have attended this seminar in the past.
