a Book Fair Blizzard is on it's way! - November 14 & 15

This year's book fair will take place in the Lyon School Gymnasium on Wednesday and Thursday November 14 and 15 and will be open to the community from 9 am to 8 pm both days.  Here are some highlights of this year's book fair:

• Pizza Night is Wednesday the 14^th, 6-8 pm.  Pizza and beverage are $2.00; additional slices and ice cream are $1.00.  RSVP by e-mailing bookfair1@lyonprpta.org. Grand Persons' night is Thursday the 15^th, 6-8 pm.  Enjoy drama performances by Pleasant Ridge drama students of all grades throughout the night.  Ice cream will be available for $1.00. Chill out at the Penguin Palace.  Read books from the Book Fair with our penguin helpers in our Book Nook located on the far side of the Learning Resource Center. 
• Be cool and help those in need.  Bring non-perishable food to the book fair and support the Holiday Helper program.  Food will be given to families in need at our school. 

Interested in volunteering at the Book Fair?  E-mail Stacy or Susan at bookfair1@lyonprpta.org.   The Book Fair is a great place to do all of your holiday shopping and we will have thousands of books for kids and adults of all ages.  Remember there is no better gift to give your kids than the gift of literacy!
